about

An epic tale about the end of mankind.

lyrics

THE FALL OF BABYLON

If I could grow wings I'd fly
far away from all this filth and despair.
To a place free of suffering;
no more hate or distrust.
Paradise after the fall of Babylon.

Faceless demons hide
behind political doorways to the past.
Ancient ties that tell our history.
All the lies, all the mystery will fade
into dust after the fall of Babylon.

The wicked have drawn out their swords
to cast down the needy and the poor.
Corruption the blanket they weave,
but it won't shelter them from the coming storm.
Their grand illusion will be no more.
Their blades will pierce their own hearts.
Nations will crumble and
we'll be released come the fall of Babylon.

That which was sacred nowise gone.
We've tamed the beast, but left it almost extinct.
So much fear and hatred in our hearts.
Seems to be no end to all the war.
Will we find peace come the fall of babylon?
